The State Crime Lab-Wausau was opened in 1991. The lab is located on the west side of Wausau, on West Stewart Avenue. (Please note: because of the need to maintain the integrity and security of evidence, the building is not open to public tours.)

The Wausau lab serves the northern part of the state.

Police officers and other authorized submitters who would like a map giving detailed driving instructions should contact the lab by e-mail or phone. The map can be transmitted electronically.
