Criminal Law Decisions Online

     Criminal Law Decisions Online (CLDO) covers all criminal law decisions handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court and Wisconsin Supreme Court, and published cases of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, from July 1, 1977, through October 15, 2009.  This system replicates, in an online format, the Master Compilation of Criminal Law Decisions documents previously published by the Department of Justice,  and  it retains the table of contents and numerical digesting system used in print versions of the Master Compilation. 

    The system is navigated through Adobe Reader, and allows you to "drill down" through the table of contents to locate a particular subsection focusing on a specific point of law. You can also conduct simple text searches using the "find" feature. Cross references are hyperlinked, making it easy to jump to a cross-referenced section. You can also send a particular page or range of pages to an attached printer.

     Decisions of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Wisconsin Court of Appeals which were  published after the July 1,  2001 term are also linked to the court's public website.
